Yesterday, Ardence, Inc.'s on-demand Software-Streaming Platform won CRN Magazine's "Best in Show" award at IBM PartnerWorld 2006. The software delivers "breakthrough IT-management and user benefits at the desktop and in the data center."
CRN entries are judged on many criteria including, but not limited to, how closely the provider worked with IBM to create a solution that benefits the company, the clients, and the clients' customers.
The software was used on Freeze.com with excellent results. According to reeze IT Director Kyle Ohme, "Ardence worked right out of the box. It streamlines our data center operations and better supports the scaling of our IT operations. With Ardence we are better able to maximize the return on our IBM BladeCenter deployment during a time when we are experiencing explosive growth. Using Ardence Server Edition, we have reduced the time needed to provision servers; we're better able to meet constant spikes in server utilization; and we've quadrupled IT staff productivity and solved backup and disaster recovery challenges."
