VARs and XSPs: Writing the Future of Data Backups

One of the leaders in data backup, Vembu Technologies, has released an impressive new system. Their Service Provider Edition of Vembu StoreGrid allows users to implement the data storage program while using their existing hardware.

Sekar Vembu, CEO of Vembu Technologies, said it best in his statement today: "We believe that Value Added Resellers, Managed Service Providers, ISPs, System Integrators and other IT Solution Providers are in the best position to take data backup, especially remote backups, to the masses.

They already have a fundamental asset -- the trust of their customers. This is especially important as companies are in effect, trusting someone with safekeeping their confidential data. With StoreGrid's SP Edition, our objective is to facilitate this task, and in doing so through the channel, we wish to take enterprise class data backup features to non enterprise customers as well."

That's good new for all of you VARs out there. Sounds like we will finally have the opportunity to bring data backup to everyone, not just enterprise clients. Learn more about the new system and Vembu's plans in the complete article (link above).
