Computer Consulting: Should You Keep Your Micro Clients?

Trying to decide whether to keep micro clients is a big question for many computer consulting companies when they're just starting out. Your smaller clients may understand that you fit them in when you can and they may pay your hourly rate, but if they're taking up too much time it may not be worth it.

If you have time to fit everyone in, then keeping your micro clients can be a great deal. If you don't, then they be costing you money. You still need to have the time to handle direct mail campaigns, follow-up calls, and seminars.

Remember that money-making activities aren't everything. You still need time for marketing so that you can continue having money-making opportunities. So, keeping your micro clients really comes down to whether you will still have time to focus on activities that help your business grow.
