IT Consulting Firm Sapphire Announces New Government IT Staffing Program

IT consulting business Sapphire Technologies, part of Vedior North America recently announced a new division that will help with the IT staffing needs of the government sector. Sapphire has recently increased sales to the government sector, and the new branch called Sapphire Government Technologies (SGT) will provide IT consultants to government agencies in local, state and federal areas.

Sapphire Technologies began as a single branch office in Woburn, Massachusetts and now includes 38 offices in North America and 325 employees nation-wide. Their global network now consists of 60 offices in 8 countries including Europe and Asia. SGT will be headquartered in Vienna, Virginia and was created based on the success of Sapphire in the government sector. As federal spending increases, Sapphire feels it will be able to meet the growth of the government segment of the IT consulting market with a separate division. This new division will build upon Sapphire’s developed reporting and operational systems and bring them to meet government IT requirements.

Because SGT is a strong member of the Vedior, a global staffing organization, group of companies it has significant connections within the IT industry that will help it continue to build expertise and give it access to the best IT consulting options. The government clients will also gain connections to many different specialties offered by those in the Vedior network.
