Parent company of Liebert UPS and cooling system lines Emerson Network Power recently announced the beginning of a plan to recruit a large number of solution providers. This initiative comes as an accompaniment to the summer debate over how to improve the management of data center power.
Emerson enlarged its Liebert Network Solutions Partner program for solution providers by boosting training, channel field coverage and also by altering recognition of partners and categorization that will better mark the differences between partnership levels.
Director of partner channels for Liebert at the Columbus, Ohio-based Emerson stated the plan for the solution providers program is to increase U.S. coverage and strengthen relationships with partners working with Cisco Systems, eGenera, Hewlett-Packard, IBM and Sun Microsystems. Liebert has had a good track record of working with these particular solution providers in the past.
Many solution providers state that the Liebert line is attached to many companies because they are typically a part of most data center sales and installation. The channel program is known to be very simple and professional with personal field representatives. What many solution providers have already discovered is that it offers such a great deal of local support for companies throughout the U.S., with 90 field representatives available to support the channel and recruit new partners.
